My friend Anna and I decided we go for another round for the portrait project. This time we decided to draw Robert Hunt because he’s a kickass illustrator, famous, and one of the coolest art professors from CCA. Most importantly, we knew Robert’s worst enemy was ducks. Best idea for a Robert Hunt protrait. Enjoy!
By the way, here’s Anna’s Robert portrait.
Finished it in 10 hours approximately.
Here’s a Chris Koehler portrait project I did along with my friend Anna Lorraine who also did one her own. Everyone knows Chris loves taco so we decided to make it the main theme for this portraiture project. I’m guessing the magic taco is what gives him all the powers and inspirations when he draws. Here’s his amazing website by the way: www.chriskoehler.com
Something new in the works? No one knows…
Here’s a watercolor portrait I did early last year. I wasn’t very satisfied with the results because I remember the model was so much prettier than this.
Just finished designing 200 original characters. So tired. Need to take a shit to release stress.
The idea behind this piece was to design an animal creature to be displayed in an exotic zoo. The creature needed to be a combination of a mammal and a non-mammal. So, I drew two thumbs of creatures I thought would be interesting. One was part bat and part fly because bats love eating insects. Second was part bull and part shark because they’re both dangerous animals (well, nothing compared to a Hippocrab but definitely a lot scarier than a coral-finned-pangolin-boxfish and a crog). I couldn’t decide which one to pick so I brought my thumbs to Robert Hunt. Robert ripped the batfly thumb in half and told me to go for the bullshark.
Here’s a piece I did I while back (early last year). One of the most emotional pieced I’ve ever done. I’m pretty sure some of you guys might have bumped to this piece in Tumblr somewhere.
Here’s a accumulation of doodles I did during my spare time. No reference.
Went with a couple of my friends to the library and to the pets store and drew stuff in our sketchbook. This is what I did.
